Dustin Milberg
Treasurer of the Board

 

DUSTIN MILBERG has a broad background and has been involved in the performing arts for over 20 years. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Performance from Chapman University. He has taught theatre performance since 1991. He has been seen in The Boys Next Door, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged), and The Nerd with Public Playhouse.  He has also directed The Imaginary Invalid, Jacob Marley's Christmas Carol and Moonlight and Magnolias with the company.

He was a member of the first season cast of Shakespeare Orange County, where he performed in The Winter's Tale and Hamlet. He has worked with California Theatre Center and CTC Summer Rep where he was seen in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Tom Sawyer, Alice In Wonderland, and The Ransom of Red Chief. Other stage credits include Pillow Talk, Sabrina Fair, Tartuffe, The Diviners, The Bacchae, Mother Earth, The Comedy of Errors, and Man of La Mancha. His on screen credits include Higher Education (Television Pilot), The Abductress (Short Film), and Remembrances of Love (Short Film). Dustin has also directed many productions including The Imaginary Invalid, The Lion, The Witch, & The Wardrobe, The Wizard of Oz, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, Alice in Wonderland, and A Modest Proposal. He has taught performance to both adults and children. Dustin has received several awards for his performances including the Richard Bye Founders Award with Shakespeare Orange County, the Irene Ryan Scholarship Award for his performance in the The Bacchae, and Best Performance by an Actor in a Lead Role for his performance in The Diviners.

Outside of the theatre, Dustin has had extensive experience in business. He held the position of Senior Instructor for Cadence Design Systems, inc., where he developed and delivered training to adults. He has also held the positions of Director of World Wide Technical Services at Foglight Software, Director of Professional Services and Director of System Consulting for Quest Software, inc., and Director of Information Technology for EMC and Portland Public Schools.
